Instead of evaluating children solely based on their academic scores, we must recognize and nurture their inner talents, guiding them toward fields where they can truly excel, said Mr. M.G. Gachchannavar, President of the Mundargi Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the special children’s event titled “Makkala Kalarava – Kidtopi” organized recently at SFS School, Mundargi.
“Keep children away from mobile addiction. Teach them strong moral and human values. Not all children are equally talented in everything, but when parents and teachers identify and develop the unique talents in each child, success is guaranteed,” he expressed in a motivational tone.
On this occasion, Father Prashanth Kumar, the administrator of SFS School, remarked that such events are excellent platforms for boosting children’s confidence and nurturing their skills.
Father Nirmal Jose, the principal of the school, was also present at the event.
As part of the program, Fancy Dress, Elocution, and Dance Competitions were organized for the LKG and UKG sections. The performances by the tiny tots were remarkable and captivated everyone.
The winners of the competitions were honored with trophies presented by Father Nirmal Jose.
The event began with a beautiful prayer dance performed by UKG children. Mrs. Ezalita delivered the welcome speech, and Mrs. Bella proposed the vote of thanks.
The program was hosted successfully by Mrs. Jasmine and Mrs. Florida. Teachers of the KG section, including Sister Hima, Mrs. Uma M. Gondbal, Mrs. Vani V. Gadad, Mrs. Umadevi Mathapati, Mrs. Ramantina Fernandes, as well as Bhairappa Warad and Chandru Shiri, along with the teaching staff and parents, graced the event and added to its success and vibrancy.
